Privacy Policy

Overview

FORGE is an iPhone app that builds structured workouts around the user's goal, training style, body focus, duration, equipment, quick limits, and optional freeform constraints.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use this build to create a social profile, public community account, or advertising profile.

What FORGE stores on your device

  • Workout history and a pending workout build.
  • Profile details such as name, goal, training experience, and training days per week.
  • A summary of recent workout choices and feedback used to provide context for later workout requests.
  • A stable app account token, request-signing key, App Attest key reference, and short-lived session token stored in the iOS Keychain for access control and fraud prevention.

What FORGE sends to the backend

FORGE sends workout-request data to the backend to build the workout you asked for. A request can include:

  • Your name, goal, training experience, and training days per week.
  • Selected training styles, body focus, duration, equipment, session use, and quick limits.
  • Optional details typed in the workout builder.
  • A summary of recent workout choices, generated difficulty, and workout feedback.
  • Subscription validation information required to verify access.
  • A device-scoped app account identifier, request-signing public key, and Apple App Attest or DeviceCheck data used for access control and fraud prevention.
Do not type sensitive medical information into the optional details field. Use it for training preferences, movement limits, class context, or equipment notes.

How backend services are used

The FORGE backend sends workout-request content to OpenAI to generate the requested workout.

The backend stores the workout request and generated response as a generation job. This lets FORGE resume an interrupted request without charging another generation. Backend systems also store subscription state, generation allowances, transaction records, app-integrity records, and related operational data needed to validate purchases, prevent repeated free grants, enforce limits, and fulfill requests.

The backend is hosted behind Cloudflare. Cloudflare may automatically log IP address and coarse network location derived from the request, such as country, region, city, and approximate latitude/longitude, for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability. FORGE does not use this information to track, profile, advertise to, or target users.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. FORGE receives transaction information needed to verify subscription access, free-generation eligibility, top-up purchases, and generation allowances.

What this build does not use

  • No HealthKit integration in this build.
  • No Apple Watch integration in this build.
  • No precise GPS location collection in this build.
  • No public social profile or community account.
  • No third-party ad tracking.
